The purpose of this project is to provide the City of Cape Town with comprehensive, integrated information on backyard dwellers in Cape Town in 2017.

Together with Umtha Strategy and Planning, we are working to establish:
o How many backyard structures and households are located in Cape Town in 2017.
o What is the nature of these structures?
o What levels of service do these structure have?
o What is the customer satisfaction level regarding these services?
o How are these services paid for?
